Image rule

Public display is not permission to republish.

Images on this site may include protected book covers, studio images, artwork, photographs, historic screenshots, logos, and source-record material.

Unless a page states otherwise, images should not be copied, altered, sold, republished, used in advertising, used as training data, or reused in public materials without permission.

Current image families

How images are used across the site.

The framework assumes a small set of reusable image families that support books, imprints, studios, press pages, and historic material.

Book covers

Book covers follow the site convention /images/{author-side}-{first-four-title-words}.jpg, using 500 x 750 source art where available.

Historic images

Older banners, press logos, partner logos, screenshots, and site materials belong to the historic archive and should be treated as period records.

Credits and context

Image credits should be concise, factual, and useful.

Where credits are needed, captions should identify the image family, relevant work, artist or source context, and whether the image is current studio material or preserved historic material.

Book covers

Credit to the relevant title, publishing name, imprint, and RP Media / Reagent Press context where appropriate.

Art and photography

Credit William Stanek, HC Stanek, 360 Studios, or the relevant studio context according to the public record.

Historic pages

Credit as preserved Reagent Press historic material when the image comes from older site or source-record context.
